What Is This Clinic?
Dr. Diane C. Marti, Ph.D., Dr. Natalie Swift, Psy.D., and Dr. River Waits, PLP have teamed up to provide an integrated neurodevelopmental diagnostic evaluation within a family-centered process. The goal is to provide families of children ages 2-14 years with a single location and a combined approach to provide a streamlined diagnostic process to access early intervention services and/or another referral.
Who Qualifies?
Children who have not had a psychological or developmental evaluation in the past year.
Referrals typically come from the school, pediatrician, or other concerned individual due to developmental delays in speech and/or social/emotional development.
What Can I Expect?
Appointment #1 occurs via TELEHEALTH/Zoom.
The first appointment will be held via telehealth and scheduled on a Tuesday. You will review your child’s developmental history questionnaire with the psychologist and identify your areas of concern. If insurance pre- authorization is needed for the testing, this will start the process for that as well. This appointment will last no longer than 1-hour in length.
Appointment #2 occurs “in person” at 4435 O Street, Suite 211.
We expect this appointment to last approximately 60 to 90 minutes and will be scheduled on a Monday. You will schedule this appointment when meeting with the psychologist during Appointment #1.
