Rates
Each clinician who is located at Williamsburg Behavioral Psychology™ will set their own individual rates. You will be provided intake paperwork for the clinician you work with which will explain their billing practices and rates.
Insurance
Depending on your current health insurance provider or employee benefit plan, it is possible for services to be covered in full or in part. Please contact your provider to verify how your plan compensates you for psychotherapy and neuropsychological testing services.
We recommend you ask these questions to your insurance provider to help determine your benefits for therapy:
- Does my health insurance plan include mental health benefits?
- Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it and have I met it yet?
- Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?
- Do I need written approval from my primary care physician in order for services to be covered?
We recommend you ask these questions to your insurance provider to help determine your benefits for a neuropsychological evaluation:
- Does my health insurance plan include neuropsychological testing?
- CPT Codes: 96132, 96133, 96136, & 96137
- Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it and have I met it yet?
- Are there limits on testing services or covered diagnoses?

Self-Pay
We offer a self-pay option for individuals who prefer not to use insurance or do not have insurance coverage.
The cost of a full developmental evaluation is $1,500. This fee includes the entire evaluation process, including the initial interview, testing procedures, interpretation of results, feedback session, and final written report.
Additional services outside the scope of the evaluation — such as forms, accommodation letters, ESA letters, or extra consultations — may incur additional fees.
Flexible payment options are available, including installment plans. Payment arrangements must be finalized before services are scheduled.
Payment
Each individual clinician will receive payments through their own practice. Most will accept cash, credit card or checks.
