Dr. Hannuja, or Dr. V, was born and raised in Malaysia and moved to the United States to pursue her education in psychology. She earned her B.A. in Psychology before continuing her master’s degree in Educational Psychology. She earned her Ph.D. in School Psychology from Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Dr. V completed her predoctoral internship at the Munroe-Meyer Institute in the Lifespan Developmental Disabilities Clinic. She is currently completing her postdoctoral training at Williamsburg Behavioral Psychology™ (WBP™) under the supervision of Dr. Diane Marti, Ph.D., Licensed Psychologist.
Dr. V specializes in providing services for adolescents and adults. She conducts diagnostic evaluations for neurodevelopmental disorders, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disability, and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), as well as co-occurring psychological conditions such as anxiety and depression. She has a particular interest in helping clients gain diagnostic clarity and a better understanding of their unique strengths and challenges. Dr. V provides goal-oriented, solution-focused therapy and integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients work toward meaningful, individualized goals. As a multilingual psychologist who has lived in multiple cultures, Dr. V is committed to providing culturally informed care to clients from diverse backgrounds.
