Dr. Marti received a Ph.D. from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in December 2008 with a specialty in School Psychology. She has over 20 years of clinical experience and enjoys working with “systems” (e.g., schools, families, support systems). She specializes in diagnostic assessments for individuals of all ages with Autism Spectrum Disorder and has a special research interest in diagnosing adults and women on the autism spectrum. Dr. Marti works with a variety of disorders including behavioral and academic concerns as well as mental health conditions in the areas of depression, anxiety, ADHD, encopresis, enuresis, grief and family system issues. She believes a “strength-based” approach is an effective way to work within the talents and interests of individuals and attempts to build from these strengths to address challenges and needs.
